Again, this week my post comes a little late. My husband took my camera this morning to a job site to take "before" pictures, so I had to take pictures when he got home.

Delilah & Celeste's Room
Kelly, over at Kelly's Korner hosts a home tour every Friday called Show us Where You Life Friday. I'm going to do mine today, but will post a link to it tomorrow on her site. Every week she asks people to post about different rooms in their house. This week is Nurseries & Children's Rooms.
They decided on hot pink as a paint color, and the original plans were to have glitter in the paint, but I just imagined it all over the floor, and decided against it.
I wanted to get them a quilt for their bed and I found this one at Target and I love it! We went to Disney World during Christmas and New Year's and the only thing Celeste wanted was that Minnie Mouse pillow. She absolutely loves it.
This piece of furniture was hand painted by my grandmother. It used to be in her bedroom, and recently my grandfather gave it to me, and I will treasure it. It is so special to me, and beautiful. The tea set on top was given to Delilah from my mom, and the baby in the picture is Celeste. So sweet!
Lilah was painting one day at home and when she finished I thought her paintings were so beautiful and matched her room. I bought these frames and hung them by the bed.
I didn't want to put curtains over the windows but I wanted something decorative over them, so I found these for only $7 and they look great.

The Disney TV is sooo big... its time to get a smaller one. I wonder if they make a pink LCD? Anyway its great so they can watch movies in their room. I'm not really a fan of toys ALL over the room, so I like to hide them in containers under the bed or in the closet, but here is their kitchen and a few toys.
When I was taking these pictures the girls wanted me to take one of their Christmas present, and a little girl snuck into the picture...
Well I hope you enjoyed the tour of my girl's room. The next room I think is the master bedroom, so I'll do that one next time.Remember tomorrow is Favorite Things Friday! See ya then.

This is what you need:
I cup of flour
3/4 cup of crushed pecans
1 stick of margarine melted
1 8oz. package of cream cheese
1 cup of powdered sugar
16 oz. of cool whip
1 3.9 oz box of vanilla pudding
2 cups of cold milk
1 10oz carton of frozen strawberries in glaze (thawed)
1 package of strawberry glaze
1 container of fresh strawberries
Ok...here's how to make it...
* with a spoon, stir together melted margarine and flour. Then add pecans. Press firmly into the bottom of a 9 x 13 glass baking dish and bake at 350 for about 10-15 min (until golden brown)
* In a bowl mix together (with a hand mixer) cream cheese and powdered sugar until creamy. Then add HALF of the container of cool whip (8 oz). Set bowl aside
* In a separate bowl mix together vanilla pudding and cold milk until pudding is pudding like (only way I can describe it). Then pour pudding into bowl with cream cheese mixture. Mix together and set aside.
*In a separate bowl mix carton of frozen (now thawed) strawberries and 3/4 of the package of strawberry glaze together.
Now its time to put it all together.
* Pour cream cheese/pudding mixture over pecans in the dish. Next pour frozen strawberries and glaze on top. Then put the remaining cool whip on top of everything. Cut up fresh strawberries and layer on top of cool whip.
Like I said this is super good, and I promise everyone will love it!
I love this picture...again, she wouldn't let go of that phone...
After church the girls really wanted to go swimming in their little pool outside. They ran inside to change and they couldn't hardly wait while I was filling up the pool. Even Trinity enjoyed the water. I was able to fix lunch while they were outside playing. (yes, I was watching them. There are windows in the kitchen that are right in front of where they were playing. Just in case anyone was wondering.)
Trinity climbed in the pool with her onesie before I had a chance to change her, but I figured that it would probably keep the sun off of her better. The girls splashed and sprayed each other with the water hose.
Trinity got tired of swimming so she decided to go for a ride in her jeep...
After they ate lunch the girls enjoyed Popsicles outside...
...until Lilah heard thunder

I wanted to get a nice picture of my girls in front of this wall, but after several pictures this was all I could get.

We walked by a large fish tank and much to our surprise there was a man feeding the fish from inside the tank and he stopped to say hello to the girls. They loved it.
At our next stop we found Nemo and all his friends. Again, the picture turned out crazy...the girls wouldn't be still, they were too excited.
Then Trinity decided to take a break for a sip of a lime sonic slush.
Finally we made our way to Dolphin Bay to see the dolphin show. We waited...

Then we had some fun on the playground...
As we were leaving I wanted a picture of my girls in front of the aquarium with the harbor bridge in the back. Again, not everyone was looking. Its ok...they still look beautiful.

We had such a fun day, and it was a great way to start off the summer. I look forward to many more days like this with the girls.
One more thing...when we got home they sky looked like this...

and we got some much needed rain. I even heard thunder and saw lightning. Praise the Lord!

Her teacher, Miss Edwards, was such a wonderful teacher, and did a great job teaching Lilah this year.

Me and my big girl...

Me, Lilah, and Trinity in her classroom...

This year flew by so fast. This is Lilah on her first day of school and her last.

She started on the walls in her room...
Then she decided to draw on her blinds and window seal...
Then the play kitchen in her room...
Then she drew on her furniture in her room...
